Split stay 180 day question

This will be our first trip doing a split stay. We have a one night room only reservation checking in on 7/22. We are then moving to a different resort with a package on 7/23 and staying until 8/4.

Can I begin making our 180 + 10 tomorrow (1/23) or do I need to wait until 1/24 to make the majority of the reservations?

You will need to wait until 1/24 to make the majority of reservations. It's 180+length of stay. So for your first check-in, it is 180+1.

Disney somehow figured out the split-stay thing for FP+ reservations, but not for ADR's.

On a split stay, when your first reservation window opens up, are you able to book a dinner reservation for the checkout day of the first reservation(that would also be check-in of the second reservation).

My first time doing a split stay as well and I had the same question. We check in on August 2 – so I would not be able to make my ADRs until February 3, correct? I was originally thinking I could do it February 2.

If we arrive August 2, can we make reservations for that night?
