Split Seasons

I know you are charged for the season it is at check in. Here's what I want to do. Can I do it? Original plan was to leave home on 12/31 and arrive in Orlando on 1/1. Stay offsite the first night. Check in to POP on 1/2. I started thinking that since everyone going is off from work/school all the week before, then we could go earlier on the 30th and check in an Epcot Resort on the 31st and the 1st. I would like to be able to walk to Epcot for NYE. Then on 1/2 go to POP. What do I do to avoid paying holiday price for the whole trip?Do I check out of first resort. Can I have two different reservations? I can always have one reservation and my daughter have the other. Suggestions please.

Just make 2 reservations, they both can be in your name.

We are in the same sistuation that you are in. We were orginally going to go in Dec. We were going to check in on Dec 29 2005 but we changed our mind and decided to check in on Dec 31 2005 and check out on Jan 9th 2006. And to keep from paying holiday rates for the whole time we are there we decided to make 2 seperate ressies. We made one for the 31 and then a seperate on for the rest. I called and had no problems. CM was very nice and helpful. THe only thing is if you make 2 ressies you will have to pay one nights ressie on each room. Hope this helps.
