Split Reservations and Package Vouchers

Hi all,

Our reservation fell between two discounts and so our package deal is only for the first 5 nights. We have a room only reservation for the remaining days of our trip. We were planning on using the Disney Quest and mini golf vouchers the last two days of our trip.

I've just realized that the vouchers say they expire at midnight on the night of checkout, so it looks like we will not be able to use them at the end of our trip since we will have technically checked out of our package reservation.

If we aren't able to use the vouchers, it will end up having not been worth it to split the reservation for the discount since we will have to pay OOP for admission to DQ and mini golf. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there anything Disney will do?

I called up Disney last night and was told the vouchers would definitely expire after we check out of our first reservation, so it looks like we'll have to change everything to one reservation and forgo the extra room discount on our last nights.

You did the math to make sure that losing the room discount is worth possibly paying for two DQ admissions and a minigolf?

Vouchers, dining credits, etc. always run out at midnight of the night of check-out.

Essentially, you are on a room-only reservation and get a different amount number and a different key to the world card; you can add charging priviledges on that card as well.

I agree; the discount fare outweighs the vouchers; half the time I don't even have time to use them.

Yes, our total savings by splitting the reservation was only $60 so we would pay more for two admissions to DQ alone.
