split reservation question

If I split my reservation and only have the dining plan on the second half can I head to the parks first thing in the morning or do i need to check in to second hotel to activate dining plan? The reservation is for three nights so that includes 3 TS, 3 CS & 3 snacks, from the time of check in correct?

You will need to checkin to the second hotel first to activate the dining plan. The credits will be on your room keys and yes you will have 3 credits in each category.
