split party...on/off site question

My son is playing at ESPN, and will stay in the team hotel with his team. Husband and I would like to stay at POP (for one night) with our little ones. We will ALL be getting MVMCP tickets only, since we will be busy with games, etc. Question is... will our son that is staying offsite be able to hang out at the pool, etc with us since he isn't on our reservation? Also, we will have a car, but if we choose to take the buses to the MVMCP, will our son be able to hop on the bus with us? I guess I am paranoid about him being on property without being on our ressie. If it wll be an issue, we will just stay at the team hotel instead... just thought it would be fun for our younger ones. TIA

One more thing.. will it mess up our MDE when I buy our MVMCP tickets, since we're on property, and he isn't?? We'll have magic bands, and he won't. We can book our FP now, but can't get his yet. This is getting too confusing! LOL

And yes, he will definietly be able to use the buses. You do not need to be staying on site to use the buses.

Great info, thank you!! He won't be swimming, just occupying a chair! LOL And I guess you don't need to be staying at a resort to visit another one, duh! We visit other resorts all the time. This whole trip is just throwing me for a loop. Can't we just keep it simple, LOL???

He can ride the buses with you....no problem at all. As for the pool at Pop? Officially, only those staying at the resort are entitled to swim in that pool. However, if you check in with the life guard, you will most likely be fine.
