Sometimes the portions are huge.
Have you split your food with somebody ?
Yes, I have and our option was half rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables at Cosmic Ray´s.
Tell me your experience.

DH and I share CS stuff all the time...it works out great

I split everything with either my husband or son. The portions are simply too large for one person and I hate to waste food. Things we regularly split... burgers, rotisserie chicken, fish and chips, steaks, individual pizzas, turkey legs(three ways) and any full platter or combo meal with sides. Splitting meals helps to leave room for ice cream or popcorn throughout the day!!

Our last trip we basically only ate TS for dinner I believe. I think we ate at some fine steak houses outside of WDW almost every night!

During the day we would pick at things throughout the park, but split them between my mother, brother and myself! It probably saved money, but that wasnt our goal. We got to try everything and still had room for big steak dinners at the end of the night!

My DD and I split the chicken parm at Tony's in Jan and were both totally satisfied.

Yeah i think its best to split the portions so the food won't go to waste. there is just too much food!!

I wish the wife would do this with me, but it's just anathema to her. No matter how much I beg...

Speaking of which, we were at a new chain restaurant last week (called Madisons, completely new to us here in Quebec) and they brought us each a pretty bland hamburger and a plate of potatos that I'm stunned our server could lift.

Seriously, if we'd split one plate between us ... we still would've had more than we needed. And we're big folks, too.

I really think that it´s too much food sometimes and when it´s counter service no problem to share but when it´s a table service restaurant I´m usually ashemed to ask it. Am I silly?

My son and I do this all the time...I'm a lighter eater, he can sometimes eat more than me. We had no issues splitting at CS's last summer...sometimes we'd order an extra side and sometimes not. We just asked for an extra plate when needed.

We also split a nice meal at Le Cellier. It was a last minute trip for us and we really hadnt planned too many sit downs, but I couldnt resist Le Cellier. I kinda advised our server we would be sharing... She was more than happy to bring an extra plate for each course. We shared a nice ceasar salad and a fillet. It was more than enough for both of us. A word of caution...he was 10 when we went, so considered an adult now. He ordered 3, yes 3 chocolate milks...and we were charged for eah one. So much for saving money. But at least we didnt waste either.

Me & my DH split BK & Lun CS's all the time so we can eat our Dinner.

I find the portion sizes continue to shrink. Even just 2 weeks ago while there we were shocked to see how tiny the meals were at CHH. What, 2 fish sticks and 5 "nickel" size nuggets, all thrown on top of 10 fries. That use to be a great meal to split--but not anymore.

However, we have found since we go regularly the portions are getting smaller, "or normal size". The only meal I think is splitable would be the fried chicken meal at the 50s Prime Time and maybe a Sandwich at the Plaza. Of course both would require the second person buying some side items as those are now tiny.

The problem with doing this for us is that DH and I don't even come close to liking the same things. I won't eat beef, pork, or any seafood. He doesn't like chicken, turkey, pasta, or vegetarian meals. <LOL>
