:disrocks: For our 10 day December stay we start off with 6 nights at All-Star Sports followed by 4 nights at the Contemporary. Since this is a AAA room only reservation and a split stay, can we have 10 day Hopper Tix added to our room keys/charge cards? How could that work seeing as how we will end up with two keys during the week? The only real advantage to changing this to a package (which I would rather not do) is having tix on plastic room keys instead of having paper tickets. On our engagement trip we saw several commando fastpassers like ourselves having to deal with wet or damaged tickets. Any suggestions on how to avoid paper tix in this situation? Here's hoping it won't be too :cold: or too hot for those of us going in December! :)

I think it would be a bother having to deal with two room keys during the last four days of your vacation.

But if your only problem is with having "paper" tickets, there is an easy way around that. Buy your ten day park hoppers at the Resort Concierge window.
They will be encoded on plastic "key" stock. Tickets purchased at the parks will be on the "paper" stock, which is not really paper or cardboard. But those purchased at the resort concierge desks are plastic.

We also had pre-bought tickets and they had no problem adding those to the original room keys. When we switched resorts, they moved the tickets to the new room keys, no problem.

We even had a few days and pluses left and they said just bring those keys back next trip and they put them on our new room keys.

We're doing a split stay next summer and we booked a package/POR resort ... then just a POLY (room only) for the 2nd half. Our tickets are going to be on the first resort "KEYS" we've been told. So when we move to the POLY for our last week, we'll use those cards just to get into our room or charge items ... and we'll use the first "KEYS" from POR for getting into the parks still. At least that is what I understand it to be. Hope this helps!!

I didn't know you could have paper tickets put onto your room key. I wish I had done that last year. We bought our tickets ahead of time at the MWR office on post (military), and we were always trying to keep track of everything. O well, good info for next time. :goodvibes

When we went this last July we first stayed at BWV for 6 nights then switched to SSR for the last 3 nights. My brother bought a 7 day ticket for himself when at BWV and it was encoded onto his resort key. Then when we switched to SSR we took his old key to the desk and they put the remaining days onto his SSR key so he would only have one key to deal with. So when you get to the Contempory just take your key from All Stars with your tickets on them and ask for the remaining days to be encoded onto your new tickets. Have a great trip.

The information you guys gave made me :cool1: . I don't want to have to keep up with so much stuff in the parks! Your prompt responses is one thing that makes :disrocks: I feel like I know so much about the World I could be a :teacher: but there's always something new to learn or consider. :earboy2:
