I can also confirm it was running boats yesterday that were full of water jugs which I assume simulates people inside the boats as far as weights go.

Rode Splash today...really dissapointed they numerous speakers and effects are not working after the lengthy refurb.

Still plenty to enjoy but they had months...I expected everything to be working.

I rode it this am and I felt the same way. We also had to keep stopping because someone kept standing up in their boat. Row three I'm talking about you!

I wish there was an un-like button for your post, lol. I thought maybe I was just being overly critical but good to hear somebody else felt the same I guess. The weirdest part was the first scene at the top outside where the individual singing speakers were working but the background music wasn't. That was just creepy and awkward IMO.

Interesting. The long broken (like years) blue bird was finally fixed.

I did notice that.

A couple weird observations:
- the music at top of hill was off...and that's like my favorite part of being at Disney. Riding in the sun...hearing "how do you do" while thinking it's great I'm not at work..
- projection of them running across the hill not working
- speaker for the Possums not working
- Turtles riding the water weren't on

At any rate - glad to have this back. I feel like the mix of music, story and thrill makes Splash the best ride in all of Disney. Hoping it's improved tomorrow...

Did you notice if the hen on the far right of the paddleboat (dark gray one in the pic below) was there? When we went last year it was missing.

I haven’t ridden it yet but maybe someone else can answer.

I believe Gray Hen was alive and well today!

Since Splash Mountain has reopened after its dual refurbishments and the thread title/original subject is outdated and may be confusing for some folks, closing this thread. Feel free to post a new thread for Splash Mountain post-refurb discussion. Thanks!
