Last time we went it was several years ago at the end of Jan. It was cool enough for sweat shirts but not cold. My DH and 2 older Dkids did not want to ride Kali because of getting wet on a previous trip. But youngest DS insisted so we rode last, before headding back to the hotel. The raft holds 8 or 10 people, I cant remember exactly, but depending on the way it turns, only 1 or 2 people get drenched but you don't know which seat it will be. If it is you, even a poncho doesn't help. On this particular day, LUCKY ME! I got soaked on the first go round and when we got to the end, the very helpful CM asked if we wanted to stay on and go again. Well what kid is going to say no to that? So we went again but this time, already being wet head to to I was freezing and for some reason the ride just stopped. I thought it would never start giong again, but probabally just because I was shivering. After what seemed like hours (at least 10 min), we began to move. Well, when we got back around to the drenching part, I got it again! Moral of the story; if you don't want to disappiont your kids, take an extra change of clothes and stash them in a locker. That's what I'm doing this Dec.
