Last Spring my fiance and I were seated in the front of the log and this jerk behind us was in with another guy and thought he was just hilarious and the commentator of the ride - he was being just crude pointing out how every time you see Brer Bear you saw his butt except he was saying other things and he would not shut up the whole time really runining the ride (there were little kids in the back too) - when I am in the front seat about half way down the drop I duck so the guy behind me gets hit in the face,(I know this is mean, but I do not want to get wet) well the jerk was behind my finace and so this time we both ducked and it was so funny because that jerk got soaked and really pretty wet for Splash MT---- anyone else ever had a jerk like that who thinks he is just hilarious and you would love to tell him/her to shut up while on a ride at WDW?

Not at WDW, but when I was a chaperone for an 8th grade trip to Hershey Park, I was in line with my group and this other group of kids from another school were just being nasty. I'm only 4'11" and look pretty young, so my group and I thought that these kids thought I was a kid, too. Well, I DID say something and told them I would report them to their chaperone or school administrator. They were using profanity and being extremely rude. When they questioned me, my group said, "She's our CHAPERONE." It shut them up pretty quick.

Here's another story.

When I was 14, my mom took me to California. We went to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and Six Flag Magic Mountain. I wanted to ride one of the coasters in the front car but my mom didn't. So I got in line by myself. There was a couple behind me, probably 16 or 17 year old locals. They were pretty rude and I remember them making comments about how I shouldn't be allowed to wait to ride alone and that they should go in front of me. At one point the girl was like, "Let's push her in front of the next train." It was then my turn to get in the car and once I was in I turned to them and said, "You're so stupid. If you pushed me in front of the car, the ride would close down!" Then I was off on the ride and never saw them again.

This last trip we had the very rude boatload in front of us in Pirates who took FLASH pictures of just about everything in the ride - extremely distracting and irritating. Several people told them to stop but they just kept taking pictures...

Actually...I noticed a lot more "no flash photography" violaters this trip, probably due to the increase of digital cameras and phones. Very rude.

And also the line cutters...one person would hold the space and then 6 or 7 would walk on up right before the ride started. Saw that MANY times - the worst was in Norway where this entire extended family climbed over all the bars and ropes and almost knocked my dd7 over. The cm's don't seem to do anything about this at all.

Last summer my 6yo and I rode the Beast at Kings Island in Ohio one night. It's a pretty substantial coaster. So this group of LATE TEEN boys are celebrating their manly-ness by yelling obscenities the whole time. We get off and they are high-fiving and "F'n A!!!"-ing and screaming "We rode the [bleeping] Beast at night, Man!" My sweetie was lauging her head off. I finaly said, "hey guys - so did she"

Sorry to pop your bubble guys.

:rotfl2:

When me and DS rode BTMRR there were some border line jerks in front of and behind us.

They kept screaming really loudly, not a real scream, just a "look how loud I can scream" That wasn't THAT bad, but they were screaming obscenities. Screaching really. It hurt my ears.

It just annoyed me.

We also had the flash photographers on POC pretty bad this trip.

Several years ago I was on It's a Small World at Disneyland. There was a group of young toughs on the boat with us and they were splashing the dolls and throwing things at them in an attempt to "knock their heads off." I kept hoping that THEIR heads would roll, but the ride operators did nothing that I could see. Hopefully security followed them and escorted them out of the park.

I did not say anything to them because I was just a kid and somewhat intimidated.

Reminds me of the time when I was standing in line for a rollercoaster at King's Dominion. A young boy, about 10-12 years old, tapped me on the shoulder and showed me a scarf that he was holding. He then calmly proceeded to tell me that he could sit behind me and strangle me with the scarf as the train went through a tunnel. I was speechless and found the whole thing so outraegous that I actually started laughing. I mean, what a bizarre thing for a kid to say to an adult!

I went to Magic Kingdom two weeks ago and decided to ride Small World. I went alone to the park and since my family refuses to ride IASW, I thought it would be a great opportunity to ride without my family making fun of me. Anyway there were these 4 teen or college age guys on the boat with us and they kept singing loudly and clapping and hooting and hollering all through the ride. Then near the end of the ride where all the dolls are singing and dancing together from all the countries, these guys started chanting "U...S...A! U...S...A! U...S...A!" It was completely annoying and really ruined the ride for a number of people.

After we got off the boat, the CM handed these 4 guys complimentary fast passes for any ride in the park for their "enthusiasm." I was just shocked! I certainly think Castmembers should share the magic but sharing with four guys who essentially ruined the ride for everyone in the boat with them was just not what I expected.

That is very scary!!!! I wouldn't be suprised if you see him on 'america's Most Wanted' one day soon :sad2:

I had a jerk shove me and step on my toe (with a blister) because I wasn't doing warp speed through the FastPass line at Splash. I was walking a normal pace. I was keeping up with people in front of me. He got in front of me - so he got what he wanted. He was an older guy with a young girl who was probably his granddaughter.

It had rained all week and the ride was overflowing with water. It was also pretty chilly. The jerk and the young girl got the front row. DH and I were behind them. It didn't take long to realize that we were all going to get soaked. Water was sloshing in from the sides. The jerk put on his Gilligan hat. The girl put on her hood. We went down the big drop and the force of the water hitting them was so severe, it knocked the hat off of his head. It flew off and we didn't see it anymore. It also knocked the hood off the girl's head. They were soaked. The guy had water dripping off his eyebrows. His hair was dripping. DH and I got sprayed, but nothing too bad. As we were walking out, the guy was MAD. He wanted his hat back. He was mad he was so wet. His pants were wet and heavy and sagging. DH and I were walking behind them to the exit and I said to DH, "Wow.....good thing we didn't end up in that front seat!" I flashed the jerk a big smile. The girl thought it was GREAT. She had a great time on the ride and loved being all wet. So, I'm happy she got the front row and had fun.

One of the last times I rode Dinosaur/Countdown to Extinction, there was a teenage girl behind us, about 15-16, who decided to SCREAM (and I'm talking earsplitting, overly exagerrated shrieks) through the whole entire ride. I don't think she closed her mouth even once. I guess she thought it was really funny to her friends sitting around her, but I really just wished I could have turned around and SMACKED her! My ears were ringing at the end of the ride-- that's how obnoxious she was.

Completely ruined the ride for my family, and it was our one chance to ride it that trip. :furious:

This made me laugh... :lmao:

I remember being at a 6 Flags when I was a kid - like 10-ish, and a group of teenagers being behind me waiting for some spinny thing, that my mom was waiting at the exit of.

I remember the one girl just kept getting closer and closer to me. Kinda pushing my back, and saying mean stuff. Just being a punk. When we finally got up to where we load, and they opened the gate to let us go, I turned around (Im LOL'n as I type this) I kicked her in the shin so hard, she bent over in pain.... then I RAN like the wind (or warp speed) over to the exit, flew that gate open and ran to my mom.

:lmao:

Teenagers + Amusement Parks = Bad Behavior.

Not at WDW.

BUT, we were at a Kenny Chesney concert and these two women behind me kept screaming--through every song. Couldn't hear a thing except for their screaming. I ended up with a wicked headache and we left.

Now, these were NOT young women. They were mid to late 40's/early 50's. I wonder if they honestly thought Kenny would hear them on the stage, look up and say "Wow! There she is. The woman I've been waiting for all my life."

No, but my brother and I did get to ride in a log with a couple cute girls on Splash Mountain during the christmas party. They were the only other two in the log, so we chatted, and since no one was in line we got to ride over and over and over, and even watched the fireworks from the top. About 12 times we went in a row. Took a while to get zip a dee doo dah out of our heads.

 What a whack-a-doodle he was!!!

Whosemom, the Beast in the dark is a great ride! (but not worth of the F word... ;) ).

Agree with the posters saying lots of flash photos lately on POC. I remember when they would come on over the loudspeaker and say "NO flash pictures!" if anyone was using a camera. I have even seen them stop the boats for this. What happened? It hurts your eyes in the dark.
