Hi all,

I just got back from WDW on Mon. and had a great time except for one thing. It is that Splash Mountain is being polluted, I rode it twice, in the morning it was as clean as can be, Disney does a good job cleaning these things at night, but when I rode at 5:00 I noticed alot of wrappers, a water bottle, and even a piece of gum stuck to a rock. So please, everyone try to conserve Splash Mountain, because brer rabbit, brer fox, brer bear and co. need a place to live too.

That's terrible. This is the one ride that I most look forward to. I hope Disney gets this message and cracks down on crappy, irresponsible riders!

So many people just don't care anymore. I would hate to see their houses.:scratchin

I agree the water way on Splash gets more polluted each time we visit.:worried:

Well said!!

One of the saddest things I saw a few years ago at DL. While walking through the queue for Splash, there was an area where tons of people had stuck gum all over the rock work. It was disgusting and disappointing that something hadn't been done. There was enough gum that it was obvious it had not occurred in one day. The lack of respect is sad.

This is not very nice, but a good few years ago when i was in the line for Splash Mountain, i saw a Mommy let her young toddler son "pee" whilst waiting in line for the ride.

Not very nice.
I guess it was because there were no other people with her, and she didn't want to take her son out of line to go to the bathroom, but still she could have asked someone to keep her place whilst she took him.

I doubt something like this would happen nowadays though:(

It is a strong statment about our society today and what we are teaching our children.

A sad sad statement :worried:

And Disney doesn't even SELL chewing gum on-site. There should be a sign or something at the entrance.

Some of the parks here in the UK have bins just for gum only - i hope this practice catches on elsewhere.

:genie: This will teach me to go early in the morning and respect the CMs:scratchin :wizard: :3dglasses
