OK...I may be crazy, but read me out....
Ive been on Splash Mountain more times than I can count. Love it, by far my favorite ride.
I am not one to always notice all the details, but have a general memory of the ride.
With saying the above, the past 5 years during trips I have been taking pictures/videos while riding, so I paid attention less than usual.
This past time, 2 weeks ago, the ride seemed WAY longer than usual and I noticed a big part I dont ever recall seeing . Got me wondering......
Did they redo the ride since 2019?
Do they have different tracks that may speed up the ride, by skipping a section. if crowd volume is high? This was my first visit when the parks were dead. Usually its Spring Break weeks or October.
