Splash Mountain....Zippity what????

DD favorite ride is Splash Mountain. Her 3rd trip is in the fall and she constantly talks about going on "Splashy" 3-4x each day. I just heard that they are doing a refurb. I don't have the heart to tell her yet but the estimate open date is on our last day in the parks. As you can imagine my idea on the last day is not to ride and re-ride Splash Mountain all day.

What is the likelihood that the refurb schedule over estimated the dates and the ride might open earlier?

Possible, but unlikely.

Given the recent extensions of refurbs on other attractions, I'd say you'll be lucky if it reopens on your last day.
