I got absolutely drenched on my most recent trip - I usually barely get wet at all - and I usually always sit in the front seat!
I was on the right side, front seat, in a VERY HEAVY log (heavier family members were all with me). I literally had a wave of water come over my lap - and this was before the big drop. I knew I was in trouble...
Needless to say - hair, lap, arms, legs - all got wet. Fortunately, my outfit was black and a light cotton and it didn't take more than a couple of hours to fully dry. I definitely do NOT recommend the SP water as a styling aid!!
i got completley soaked once, more wet than i've ever seen anyone get on that ride because a big wave just fell into my lap. Mostly when you get wet its just 1000 drops all coming at you but the was one huge wave.
DS and I rode twice last fall, sat in the very back row, and were between a 3 and a 4. Kali River Rapids though is an entirely different story. I had NO idea I could get that wet on a ride.
It has varied for me actually. Sometimes I got more wet than others. I don't really remember where I was sitting though. Here's a tip- if you don't want to get wet, just wear a poncho! We went this past March and at night it got chilly. But we still wanted to stay for EMH, and there was NO LINE on SM! So we just kept our ponchos on (it was raining most of the day, but stopped by this point) and we still had a blast! We were able to ride again and again
