Splash Mountain Refurb?

I just looked up my February hours and Splash Mountain will be closed my entire trip !
Does anyone have any more details about this refurb, and did people see it coming?

Splash Mountain is down every year during the winter months of January and February for its annual maintenance. Sorry that it will be happening while you're there.

hmm, I've gone on splash mountain in Feb. before..
oh well, it's an excuse to plan our next trip sooner!

this refurb is much longer than usual. it typically doesn't go into feb.

Yes, you probably did ride in February. The dates tend to vary from year to year. The refurbs for the past three years have been:

January 2 - 27, 2007
January 1 – February 15, 2008
January 4th - 17th, 2009

The one for 2010, as Brad said, will be a bit longer than usual.
