We are going to Disney the first week of December. Just a question about Splash Mountain. We don't want to get too wet, how wet do you get on this ride? I don't want to be waling around wet and cold. Thanks for the info!!

You get wet but not soaked- not like Kali River Rapids. Don't sit in the front seat. Buy a cheap poncho at Walmart and take it along if you want to stay really dry. -Steph

I've come off of it everywhere from just a few drops wet to totally soaked! You may want to save it for the end of the day so that you don't have to walk around the parks wet.

I've been on it many times. Only once did I get soaked. Ds and I sat in the front. I don't think there was a dry spot on either of us. All the other times, I got splashed, but not soaked.

Whever you sit, if you don't want to get wet, wear a poncho.

If you're not in the front seat, then you will be OK only UNTIL you then go around the bend. If there is a backlog of logs, you get splashed every time another log goes down the big drop you see from the sidewalk.

Rode Splash during MVMCP with my dd and we were the only ones on the log:teeth: We sat in the front seat and didn't get wet at all.

I think they might be able to adjust the water level because during August my friends got soaked and they were so happy because it was so hot. When we went it was about 50 so we were happy to stay dry::yes::

tell the CM you do not want to be soaked. they will seat you accordingly. this is what i did in august and got more wet from the water on the seat than from the big drop.
