I am looking at the news coming out of the Magic Kingdom the past 2 days with lines of 240 minutes for Splash Mountain Merch and people carrying away bags of merch.
I know Splash Mountain is controversial. Controversial enough not to release Song of the South and to re-theme Splash Mountain.
And Robert Iger even coming out and saying the film is “not appropriate in today’s world,”
1. Why is the ride still open?
2. Why is Disney selling merch?
It seems awfully hypocritical of them to say one thing is bad but not if we can make money.
Sorry if this is a lightning rod, but how can one be wrong and one be right?
