Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Ev'rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day, yes sir!

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Ev'rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, feeling this way

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It is the truth, it's actual... huh?
Where is that bluebird? Mm-hm!
Ev'rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!

How Do You Do?

How do you do? Fine! A friendly greetin'.
How do you do? Say it when you're meetin'.
How do you do? With everyone repeatin':
Pretty good, sure as you're born.

What goes up is sure to come down,
Penny lost is a penny found,
I'll "howdy" you, you'll "howdy" back,
This for that an' tit for tat.

Chorus: How do you do?
Fine, how are you?
How you come on?
Pretty good, sure as you're born.

Uncle Remus:
Stop jumpin', Br'er Rabbit,
you'll run out of breath.
Why don't you sit down an' calm yourself?

Brer Rabbit:
Well the grasshopper jump,
and so do the flea.
I do what I like, and I suits me!

[Repeat Chorus]

Uncle Remus:
The weather's good, the fishin's fine.
Now what do you do with all your time?

Brer Rabbit:
Oh, I zigs and I zags, I to's and I fro's.
That's what you're askin'
and that's what you knows.

[Repeat Chorus]

Brer Frog:
Mind now, Br'er Rabbit, better mend your ways.
You's headin' for trouble one of these days.

Uncle Remus:
Warnin' that rabbit is wastin' your breath!

Brer Rabbit:
Don't worry about me;
I can take care of myself!

Everybody Has A Laughing Place

Music by Allie Wrubel
Lyrics by Ray Gilbert
Performed by Jesse Cryor, Johnny Lee, Nick Stewart, and James Baskett

Hee, hee, hee, hee, ha, ha, ha!
Boy am I in luck!
I think about my laughin' place,
Yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk! Ha-yuk, yuk!

Everybody's got a laughin' place,
A laughin' place, to go ho-ho!
Take a frown, turn it upside-down,
And you'll find yours I know ho-ho!

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Boy am I in luck!
I think about my laughin' place,
Ha-yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk!

Everybody's got a laughin' place,
A laughin' place, to go ho-ho!
Take a frown, turn it upside-down,
And you'll find yours I know ho-ho!

"Pretty good, sure as you're born"

Well, that settles that often mis-quoted lyric;)

LOL! When I first went on with my godchild years ago, we both thought it was, "Pretty good, Georgia boy"! We sang it like that for years until I discovered the internet and found the lyrics.:D

Ha ha I used to think it was Pretty good shores Yeah Boy!

Thanks so much for clearing up the "How do you do" lyrics -we though it was "pretty good, sure as a bone"! My DD is very happy to know the real words - now we can sing along!

You mean it's not "Pretty good, show us your bone?"

I've always wondered what that line was! I had it down to either that, or "Pretty good, so is your mom", and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what either of those was doing on a Disney ride. ;)

Okay, I'll admit it, to me, it sounds like "Pretty Good, Show Us Your B@lls"

...Obviously, that's not the case, and I also thought it sounded close to "Pretty Good, Show Us Your Paws", possibly referring to one of the characters on the ride.

Well, in a few days when we're riding Splash, I'll be sure to pay closer attention:earsboy:

Ok, now give us the CD info....where did you get it and how much $$$ did it cost you. I'd love to have the actual songs from the parks...the one I have has the "pop stars" and it bites. Ren:teeth:

I got mine at the MarketPlace at WDW, but you might be able to get it via mail order from Disney. You can call them and they can hook you up with the department that can find anything on Disney property for you. But beware, you will spend a small fortune! I order the Epcot cd and paid nearly $30 instead of the $17 at the parks. But it is well worth it if you love the music like me!

The one line of that song I *did* get was "Pretty good, sure as you're born."

I'd be surprised to find too many lifelong Southerners who didn't get that one. "Sure as you're born" is a REALLY common expression in many parts of the South; I heard it all the time when I was growing up.

This post really has us laughing! My daughters (17 & 20) could only get "Show us your bum" out of it. ~:D~
