My last few trips have been to WDW so I forget how many are to a log on Splash?

Technically they can fit two in the back row making for a total of seven. But one in the back has to be a child and I rarely see it done that way. We had seven in our group this summer - five were teens - and they would only let us do six to a log. :)

Splash Mtn:

At WDW - four rows per log, two per row
At DLR - six rows per log, one per row with extra big seat in rear for child

- WDW has wider logs, shorter in length

Space Mtn:

At WDW - three rows per ship, one per row, with two ships connected for six total riders
At DLR - three rows per ship, two per row, with two ships connected for twelve total riders

- DLR has wider ships, similar length

I just re-read my post above and realized how confusing it is! I must have still been half asleep when I posted it. Sorry about that!

..and hydroguy. the seats are invidual also! sorry he forgot to mention that--

I did forget to say the words "individual seating" but I did not forget to say "one per row" which is...uhhh...individual seating. ;)

Though when you get stuck in the back next to your child you get REALLY wet because you're "hanging out" to the side of everyone in front of you = no one really blocking much of the water!

Ha, good observation. I ride "single rider" a lot, and they almost always put me in the very back seat. I never show up on any on-ride photos because I am always cowering behind the person in front of me to avoid getting wet :cool1:

I don't remember ever getting any thing other than a little wet :confused3

It definitely depends on where you're sitting and the other passengers in your log (that sounds weird lol). There have been times where I escaped with only a few droplets, and other times that I was drenched to the bone. In my experience, the heavier the load, the more soaked I get.

Very true, if the front is heavy the log plunges in quite a bit.

If you are on the back seat watch out too. If the log is tail heavy, when you go up a lift, the tail sets extra low and water comes up through the floor, it will soak your shoes.

Yeah, I was drenched when I went with ds last time. I swore up and down I would never ride in the back again (I hate being wet in regular clothes!).

We've only gotten a little wet riding in the back... but we always wear ponchos just in case... but its never as bad as the people in front of us!
