Splash mountain down

Not sure if this is the right forum or not but Splash Mountain is still down. I missed it last year for the refurbishment so I was super excited to get a 9:10 FP for today. Well disappointment ensued.

It was down a couple of times on our trip last week. It will be back up, don't worry.

This thread title made me panic! It was down our past two trips, two years in a row! We have a FP for it every MK day this year to make up for lost rides haha. I hope it comes back up soon for you!

If it stays down for your FP window, you should get an anytime FP, which doesn’t count against your 3 daily FP, so you can make another FP for a different ride and also come back to Splash when it’s back up. Personally I think Splash is better in the afternoon when it’s hotter.

Yeah, that'll happen sometimes. I'm sure it'll be back online soon. Could have been a ride issue, or a guest issue.

Lines app says it will be back soon. I found them to be pretty accurate on stuff like this.

Sounds like a good time to go see Tiki Birds, stop and have a churro or Dole Whip, and use your anytime FP on it later.

If it stays down for your FP window, you should get an anytime FP, which doesn’t count against your 3 daily FP, so you can make another FP for a different ride and also come back to Splash when it’s back up. Personally I think Splash is better in the afternoon when it’s hotter.

If a ride goes down during your FP+ window for that ride, you receive a "multiple experience" FP+ which is good for any ride listed in the multiple experience list including the ride you originally had the FP+ for. You can use it either for a different ride on the list or the one you originally had it for, but not both.

Thanks for all the good wishes and advice. We just rode thunder mountain with a ten minute wait and are just gonna see if it’s back up this afternoon

Really you felt the need to create a thread because an attraction was temporarily closed?
Just use your FP+ when its back up and move on.

I'm not sure the question warranted you jumping down the OP's throat. Not everyone understands how Disney handles things when something goes wrong.

I'm betting it will be back up and running! The good thing about a ride going down during your FP time allotment is that your FP then becomes usable any time before the park closes. I know sometimes this can be a burden depending on your plans for the day, but hopefully it all works out for you!
