Rode Splash this evening.

It is still listed as closed on the entrance signs, and on the wait board. And the FP machines are turned off.

But the Stand By line was only about a 15 minute wait.

It seems like they are only running about 2/3'rds of the logs. Slow loading and no backup when you get to the unload area.

The ride is pretty much the same, no major changes except for Enhanced sound using new speakers. (And a big thumbs up for the improved sound).

You should find the ride open unless it breaks down for the rest of the week before it officially reopens.

It's true, I rode it twice today. Fastpass is supposed to be closed until Monday at the soonest, but CM's said the fastpass will be closed until the 19th.

The lines were really long today, but they moved quickly. They wrapped all the way around the ride to the Haunted Mansion exit, but it was only a 40 to 60 minute wait.

Oh im so happy to hear that the ride is up again. Its going to take a load off everyones mind

It was just a very necessary, long refurbishment.

It's not like DL threatened to close it.

But it is nice to have the classic back again.

...and sounding great! :wizard:

We seen it up and running (without riders) on Thursday and got very excited. My youngest daughter was always to small to ride on it and while we were there on our last trip in February, it was closed. We missed riding it Friday night but got on it Saturday.

She loved it!!! It was so much fun that we decided to wait in that line for a second time to take her on it again. Of course we had fun at DL, but taking her on Splash for the first time was the highlight of our trip!

Friday, I was around BTM and heard screams coming from that direction. Looked to SIL (OregonDisneyFanatic) and we made a bee-line for it! We got absolutely soaked!!! I keep hearing in my head "You might get wet, You might get soaked" It didnt help that it was 10:30/11:00 pm. It was so much fun, we laughed the whole time.

so that means that its gonna be open when i go memorial day weekend

thankgodd

i missed it soo much in march
it was like so weird going without splaash mountain

How exciting! My DSIL is coming to CA for a visit and DH and I are taking her for her first trip to DL on Wednesday! I'm so glad it is back up!

we rode sunday, hardly any line, maybe 10 min tops. . . I personally did not notice any difference, but then I only ride it for my hubby and kids cuz I HATE that last drop. . . my MIL knew we were almost done cuz she could hear me screaming!

It was only a 10-15 minute wait also which was nice! I don't think I have ever been that wet on Splash before. It was fun though. It seemed like there was alot more water in the ride this time?

My DH and DD5 rode it on Mother's Day, with maybe a 10 min wait. On Tuesday, DH, and DD5 & DD4 rode it twice walking straight on. The kids loved it, which was great because it's such a fun ride! I missed out because the baby was asleep in the sling.
