I have reservation for the SPIRIT OF ALOHA Dinner Show at 8 pm. My question is... Can I leave the restaurant for a few minutes to see the nightly "Electric Water Pageant Show" at 9 pm (Seven Seas Lagoon) and then re-enter to continue enjoying my dinner? Any suggestions? :confused3 Thank you so much for any hepl!;)

I think you can leave (the bathrooms are outside the actual restaurant area, as is the smoking section, and people leave to go to those all the time), but I can't imagine you'd want to. The show goes on during the whole time and you would miss so much! And the food goes on pretty much the whole time too. I can't imagine leaving your table full of food and coming back to cold food later and wondering what's going on with the "story" they're doing in the show. It would be very, very weird. Not to mention the tickets are expensive, so why would you want to miss any part of it.

But I do think it's allowed. You'd probably have to tell your server so they don't think you hated the show and walked out or something. Then you'd come back to find your table and all your food cleared away (it's served family style in the middle of the table).

HTH. Enjoy the luau - we LOVED it!! We're doing it again this year.

I forgot to mention, you'd probably miss the big "to-do" they make about the dessert! You wouldn't want to miss that. All the wait staff come out at the same time with big smoking volcano desserts. I'd be so disappointed to miss that.

You are absolutely right. It is a shame for me because I would like to see both but I think Spirit of Aloha Show is better. :lovestruc Thank you! :thumbsup2

You could always take the Monorail to another beach to see the Electrical Water Pageant after the dinner show. I know when we stay at BLT the pageant comes by much later. So you may be able to catch both with a little creativity. :goodvibes

good idea!:thumbsup2

Do you believe that one hour and a half is enough to see the show and enjoy the dinner? The Contemporary Resort is approx 15 minutes from here right? :confused3

Having seen the electric water pageant seven times last week , I can tell you that it is NOT worth missing anything else for. Sure, it's cute enough the first time, but even if it's your only time to see it I wouldn't dream of suggesting you miss any part of your dinner show.

And as others have suggested, perhaps you can find another time to see it.

Another thing to consider is that from Luau Cove, I think the viewing area for the EWP at the Grand Floridian is actually closer than the viewing area for the Poly. The GF showing is 15 minutes later than the Poly showing.

The Luau is at the far western end of the Poly complex, while the EWP shows at an area probably a bit east of center, or at least right in the middle.

Yes, I had already heard that this hotel (GF) has the best view to see the EWP. The problem is if I will have the time to get to another resort and see this show. :guilty:

I will try to do the option of going to the Contemporary Resort to see the last part of the route of this short-show. Thank you:flower3:
