Trying to decide which one we would enjoy more. It is myself (DW), DH and 2 wonderful kids. The kids are use to eatting out and do enjoy a nice resturant. We are using the dining plan and concerned that the seats for the SOA won't have a descent view for the little ones. :confused3

Any input would be greatly appreciated - also we are going Oct 18 if they makes a difference or not.

We have done both with the kids and enjoyed the SOA better. The kids actually requested to go back on our trip next month. The Category 3 seats aren't great, but the kids were able to see all the action..

We enjoyed SOA, it was 6 adults and 1 6yo and we all thought it was entertaining. We used the DP, section 2 and had a great view. Many will tell you it is kitschy and not good food but we enjoyed it and it was something different :goodvibes

I would pick Hoop dee do over both of those choices.

Out of the two choices I give the edge to Spirit of Aloha. Narcoosees is just a restaurant, nothing overly special about it and SOA is a show. I wouldn't worry about seeing the action at SOA, the theater is tiered and all spots offer a good view. The fire dancer is cool and the dessert is a smoking volcano. It drags a bit in the middle and is pretty cheezy at times but overall I think it is more fun for the kids than Narcoossee's.

The food is much better at Narcoosee's though.

Spirit of Aloha!!!!! The food is really good and the show is fun and entertaining. It is a must do for me every time i'm in disney :)
