We have 5:15 dinner reservations at the Spirit of Aloha. Would it be feasible to book the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace the same night??

Thanks,

Bob

I wouldn't do this. Both are all you can eat. If you eat too much at the show, you won't "get your monies worth" at the party. There is LOTS of food.
Of course, value is not the same to everyone.
DH and I are fairly good eaters and we did a late lunch (around 2:30) and had we eaten much later than that, I don't think I would have been able to eat at the party. I'm not talking pigging out either but just being able to sample everything they had. They have savory options as well.

The timing would be very tight as well. I think you'd be very rushed from one to the other. Most people line up at least 30 min before the party starts. Allowing for transportation and misc variables, it would be extremely stressful to get to the party on time IMO.

We had dinner at CRT around 4pm and the dessert party around 7:45 if my memory serves me correct and we were too full to eat much of the dessert.

We have gone to the Tomorrowland FDP three times. One year we had a 4:00 pm BOG reservation and it worked out ok. But we were still full from dinner. Considering you will be at that show with a great deal of food, I wouldn't suggest it on the same day. Keep in mind you will need to be on line for the FDP at least 60 minutes before or you will be waiting a very long time to get in. They use to have a FDP at the Grand Floridian which may be more easily accessible if you still prefer do to it the same night.

OP, if you were trying to get to the Plaza Garden viewing party, I think it wouldn't be a terrible idea (heck, yes, I would do it) as you can actually arrive late for that and still get a good spot in the garden to see the show. For terrace viewing, however, people line up way ahead of time to get a good table. It's probably not the best idea for a SOA night.
