What is included at SOA if you are on the deluxe dining plan? And what are the best seats to get?

The same things are included whether on Plus DDP, Deluxe DDP, or paying out of pocket. It's a fixed menu... was very good when we were there - coconut bread, salad, ribs, chicken, pineapple, etc... there were some alternatives for children but you have to ask for it. Beer and wine included. Great service.

I recommend category 1 seating. We were right up front and center in category 1 but had to pay out of pocket for this dinner because the dining plan could only be used for category 2 or 3. When we were at the show, the upper floor (some category 2 and 3) seemed like the view would not be as good -- further back and category 3 to the sides. When we come back, I'd prefer category 1 but will probably do category 2 to use dining plan credits.

Spirit of Aloha gets mixed reviews... but we had a great time and thought the food was wonderful. The show was enjoyable and the fire juggler at the end was really great! My beer glass was never empty and there were always 1 or 2 full ones waiting on the table! And I would pick SOA in a heartbeat over the Ohana dinner.

Using the Deluxe Dining. You can get Cat. 2 or 3 seating. Each year we go, we get cat. 2 and we have never had any problem with people standing up in front of us. That is just us though.

If you are talking about food, you get everything they serve. It's a family style buffet, plus wine and beer are included.
