I see from wdwinfo that Spirit of Aloha seating is in tiers and on the DDP, you can request Tier 2 or 3. For those who have attended, is Tier 2 seating better in the upper level, center stage; or on the lower level sides? Do you get to request either, or are you just assigned randomly to wherever is available in Tier 2? (I'm planning on calling on day 180 before, so I would assume Tier 2 would not be sold out the first day.:) )

Thanks all you fellow Disney Diners!

I recently returned from the S.O.A dinner show and i have to say..if you can afford to, then i suggest you book the Category 1 seating., it is def. worth the money. No matter where you sit in Category 1 you get an awesome view of the stage. ... If you go with a category 2 then i would suggest center stage...but i am not sure if you can request seating.

I recently booked the Luau and I just remember being asked what category I wanted. (I booked Cat 1.) The CM did not get any more specific about table location.
