Hello all...first post here!! We are going to WDW this March and I want to see this show but am worried about keeping warm at the late evening show at this time of year. I haven't been to WDW since 2004 in May and we were all cold then at this show. Will long pants and a jacket be enough? Other question is about the seating categories...is there anything I should know about how much better one category is over another? There isn't a whole lot of price difference really. Thanks for the help, and I'll be on these boards a ton in the next several weeks...so excited.

I would love to know the details about this as well. Heading there in March and using the dining plan on this!

With regards to the weather, only you will know your own comfort level. I'd advise checking the forecast before you go and bringing layers that would be normal for you in that temperature zone, as we all handle cold differently.

We've sat in category 2 and been in the front row but at the very left hand side, which was a great view. We've also sat in category 3 and were in the very back down in the middle, where we pretty much saw nothing. Our server was a rock star and took our son to the front multiple times so he could see when she saw him trying to hop up and down to view the show. I would not recommend that category.

The weather in March is so unpredictable.

In March, we went on a pirates cruise and had on sweaters and pants, but were still cold, but the next night, stayed in Epcot until 11 and the weather was still really warm and we were in tshirts and shorts. I would plan for jackets and pants, but you might not need it.

Also, from the beginning of March and the end of March, the weather can be very different.

You didn't say where you were from or WHEN in March you are coming. There is a huge difference in the first week in March to the last week. I live here and usually liken early March to early May up north. Spring is in the air but a cool snap can happen. Temps in the high 70's low to mid 80's in the day. 60's & 50's at night. It's been very warm here for winter so far so that could be up a little based on current trend.
Late March is like mid June everywhere else. Lower humidity and 80's during the day. High 60's at night.
Usually good for swimming for everyone else in the country but us in the extreme south.

I haven't done this show in years but wasn't a huge fan so I can't comment on the seating. Personally for my money HDDR was a much better show, indoors and better food. But that's just me.

I'll be there the third week of March. We will have to see how it goes I guess. I might even bring a few of those instant heat packs, one for each of us just in case...they don't take up much space in an airline bag. Hopefully more of our evenings are on that warmer side of normal than not! Our only options were this week in March or coming in summer which I really did not want to do.
And I'm leaning toward paying for the best seats since the price isn't much different and my littlest is 6 years old and will really enjoy this.
