I need suggestions... My family & I have been to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show & loved it, but for our trip in May I'm trying to decide if we should see it again, or try the Hoop De Doo Musical Revue. We have an eight year old daughter. Should we try something new or go with something we liked before? Anyone seen both shows and have a suggestion? Thanks!!

We've done both and loved both. The food is better at HDDR in my opinion and the show gives way more audience participation (we've done HDDR twice but SOA only once.) Although the drink was included at both we had a very slow server our first trip at HDDR and had difficulty getting two drinks! The other trip to HDDR and SOA the servers were surprised how little we drank (four at a meal if that helps).

I would definitely do both again but the inside nature of the HDDR and the food for kids would probably be my first choice in your circumstances.

Do Hoop De Doo! We were just there at the beginning of the month for the first time. Sat in the first row and LOVED the show! The fried chicken is awesome and the servers were very good! We stayed at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge so an easy boat ride over and back, it was convenient as well! Very good and fun show! Great for kids too! :rotfl2::cool1:

We've been to Spirit of Aloha many times, and Hoop Dee Doo once. We went to Hoop Dee Doo last August, my youngest was 9 and had a great time. We were in the second row of tables, so we had very good seats.

Since you've never been, I'd suggest going to Hoop Dee Doo. I do like Spirit of Aloha better, but really enjoyed the Hoop Dee Doo show!

I'll also say that if you're visiting Disney in hot/rainy weather--do Hoop Dee Doo as it's indoors/air conditioned!

Just wondered is hoop de do a similar experience to wcc? Dh is very quiet and whilst he loved the food at wcc he hated the interaction.

It is just the 2 of us no chn. Wondering which would be best experience for us?

Is the construction at the poly resort affecting the experience at all?

Thanks
