How long does the dinner show last and how early do you need to get there?

The show is during dinner, and if I'm not mistaken, it's at least 90 minutes. We got there way ahead of time - maybe an hour before, and all we did is stand in a long line. I'm not sure if they have the table earmarked for you or not - like maybe you can come later and not wait in the line????

Tables are assigned on the moment you call for your ADR.
Once at the Poly, you have to go to guest relations to get your tickets. I'm sure you can do this some time ahead.

We had ADRs for the 5.15 show. We were at the Poly at 4, and by the time I had figured out where to go/ what to do/ how to get the tickets, we still had to wiat a very long time in the lobby. While waiting, your picture is taken with tiki things.

A short time before the show, everyone goes in group to the Luau Cove, and there you wait until you get seated, but tables are mentioned on your tickets, so it doesn't matter if you're there the first one or the last one.

I think dinner was over by 7 pm.

We had booked for the late show in September. We arrived about 30 minutes early and had cocktails and leisurely strolled through the waiting area which is filled with little nooks to sit and chill out. The beach is very close to the staging area and the view of MK is really great.

The show happens around dinner. When we were seated, our server, Wally, came and took drink orders and quickly brought bread and salad. We enjoyed that while the first part of the show started. Dinner was served near intermission. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The Luau was scheduled to start at 8, we arrived around 7:30 and were seated by 8:10. Dinner was around 8:45 and we were finished by 10. It was a pretty nice evening.
