Based on what I've read, the Polynesian diner show is outdoors. Will it be too chilly in early January? Has anyone attended at that time of year?

Thanks!

Weather in the winter at Disney can fluctuate from downright hot to rather chilly. At night though it will definitely be on the cool side, and could vary from sweatshirts to coats and hats and mittens. Personally, I just wouldn't want to chance having to eat my dinner with gloves on. I'm not sure what their cold weather policy might be on the luau.

we ate dinner there christmas night 2007 and it was perfect, certainly a dinner the kids will never forget. you might want to bring a light jacket just incase, but certainly no gloves...then again, we don't wear gloves up here unless it gets under 40.

We ate there on Dec. 22, 2007.

We were wearing the coordinating outfits that the Disney Store was selling this past fall. We girls had on the white Minnie sweaters & the boys had on the plaid Mickey long-sleeved shirts. Those were perfect for us....no jackets needed.

**I was glad we wore the cute Disney outfits. When we arrived for check-in, it turns out they take your group's picture (like at Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, etc.). I had not known that!
