Spirit cancelled flight

This is the first time we've run into a cancelled flight. Maybe that makes our amazing Spirit airfare not so "amazing". We were able to rebook a different one and we were offered vouchers for a future trip.
I was too flustered to ask details on the vouchers.
Anyone know what they entail? Still have to pay taxes & fees? Would there be an expiration date?
Now, I need to find a room for a night before our package starts. Aaaagh. I have a headache.

Spirit Airlines has been doing this often, which is why we have flown out of philly the past two years to Dinsey.

We booked on Southwest for 45 down and 45 back, so it was 822 for a party of 7!!! for Sept, and we too are staying at OKW In Nov we flew USAIR for 49 down and 49 back, and again it was worth it.

For our flight this year Spirit wanted $1800, compared to our $822.

Philly is an hour away, but for the flight savings I am OK with driving an hour.
