I know that spirit airlines is on the verge of bankruptcy but they have some really great deals going right now. 29 dollars eachway from chicago to orlando I think with taxes they are 79 dollars. just an fyi

What dates is that deal for? I tried my dates in January and in May and I get a message says there are no flights on those dates even when clicking on the day after button. My dates are really flexible right now just looking for the best deal. That would be great if I could get a flight for 79.00 but I am thinking they are not going to fly to orlando anymore.

That's the first I've heard of this!! I was planning on booking them for our trip to St Thomas next June so I guess I'll have to keep an eye on them. Interesting that they're on the verge of bankruptcy yet they've been adding a lot of Caribbean destinations in the last few months.

Interesting rumor to start, but I haven't seen any facts to back it up.

Spirit has announced they are eliminating their Chicago - Orlando route January 2006. That may be why there are no flights listed for January and May.
