We are booked on Spirit Airlines out of LaGuardia in November. I just found out that since I booked my flights on Expedia, not with Spirit directly, that I cannot choose my seat assignments online. I have to do it at the airport when I check in. Since there are four of us traveling (including two children), I'm worried that we won't get seats together. Has this happened to anyone, and how early do you recommend we get to the airport to ensure that we are seated together? We have an 11 a.m. flight. Thank you.

I have never flown that airline, but I recently had a thread on here because I booked (with chosen seats) on COntinental, but by the time my credit card had gone through, the seats were no longer available. So there are right now me, dh, and 4 kids 11 and under with no seats. There are three seats showing available on our flight, but they are all nowhere near each other.

Many people answered my panic, saying that the airline would ask people to move around, etc to make sure that the really young kids sat with either me or dh. My 11yo, it sounds like, might be sat off on her own.

Logically, I could say that nobody wants to sit next to someone elses toddler! People will probably move for you (and me, lol) so that your kids are not unsupervised next to THEM!!
