Spinoff on ring thread-buying online

Has anyone else used bluenile? We were very happy with them but people always look nervous when I tell them we bought our rings online. Anyone else bought their wedding jewlery online? Where? Good or bad experience?

I didn't use bluenile.com, but I got my wedding ring on Overstock.com. I didn't want a traditional band; I bought a silver filigree Victorian-style ring with black and white diamonds. For only $39. I get lots of compliments on it - even from complete strangers - and they almost always ask if it's an antique. Of course it doesn't match DH's ring, which is silver with a black Celtic knot running through it, but they complement each other. They're "different" and we like it that way.

DF and I got my engagement ring from Blue Nile. It's absolutely perfect and we had a great experience. We plan on buying our wedding rings from there shortly.

Blue Nile is a very respectable company. I have no hesitation at all doing business with them. If people don't understand that, just tell them you can buy from Tiffany online too. Or, just remind them people also meet their spouses online too, doesn't make the love any less real, lol.

Dh and I bought our wedding rings on Amazon, they are just plain titanium bands and we paid $16 for both including shipping. I wouldn't have it any other way, eventually once we get older we may buy "fancy" rings but for now they are perfect and very us.
