so I was at my local grocery store last week (Stop and Shop) and saw a mom pushing her daugher in a Linens n Things cart.

another person using a wal-mart cart

yet ANOTHER using a Staples cart.

and yet ANOTHER using a Price Chopper cart (which is a grocery store a half mile up the road! heheh)

????

I know some of them get jumbled up in the parking lot...but I would just feel ODD!

Would you do this? Have you done this?

No, can't say I have/would.

I used to get annoyed when I worked in a small gift shop in a mall and people would take the shopping carts from one of the big anchor stores into the mall and try to manuever them through our aisles of breakables. Then they'd get mad when we tried to kick them out.

When DD was a baby and I was going into several stores in a shopping center I'd use the same cart for all of them instead of having to keep taking her out of one and putting her in another.

I think I may have done that once. Our Wal-mart is at the end of a really long strip mall. I parked at wal-mart, went shopping and instead of driving down to the other end (and getting the baby in and out) I just kept him in the cart and walked. But I returned the cart to the Wal-mart corral!! I wouldn't have done it, except I had remembered seeing other people doing it.

I can say that I have never done that and don't think that I would.
Just seems odd to me.

If I had small kids with me and all the stores were in walking distance of each other I probably would. But, I would make sure that the cart got back in the right corral when I was done.
