Spinoff-Brazil World Showcase Rumour

What countries would you like to see added to the World Showcase one day?

Many of them would be great but India would be the best. The colors, the food, bollywood dancers...fantastic. Wasn't Jungle book supposed to be in India? The characters could be hanging out in the India WS.

I'd love to see Australia but I know that there is some pressure for South America to be represented. Given the choice, I'd rather see Argentina than Brazil, but Brazil has put an awful lot of effort in publicity lately (including their aggressive bid for the Olympics) so I can definitely see them wanting to expand their advertising to WS.

Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Other.

I would like to see at least a South Pacific pavilion that could include Australia and New Zealand, as well as many of the island nations.

South Africa because it'll bring in another African nation. And I really like South Africa.

Other because of Russia. Wouldn't it be cool if they can make a simulated Siberia and make a fun ride from it?

Given the choice, I'd rather see Argentina than Brazil, but Brazil has put an awful lot of effort in publicity lately (including their aggressive bid for the Olympics) so I can definitely see them wanting to expand their advertising to WS.

Don't get me wrong, I love Argentina (I was in Mendoza two weeks ago and the shopping was fantastic and the wine even better ), but it has less than a quarter of the population of Brazil and half the size. I think it would be much harder country to build a theme around. For Brazil, I think they could have a blast with a carnivale-themed pavilion. Food-wise, I'm sure you're going to get a meat restaurant with either country .

But the US, Britain and Canada are already represented...personally, I would like to see more diversity in cultural backgrounds.

I do think Russia would make for a fantastic pavilion, though. I would also love an Indian pavilion since my favourite cuisine, hands-down, is Indian food.

Despite their British background Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa are very different countries than the US, Britain, and Canada. I'd especially like to see South Africa because of how poorly represented Africa is in World Showcase currently. Australia would also be interesting because of the Aboriginal people in the Outback and the wonderful cities. New Zealand would also be pretty cool.

Greece! Imagine a dark ride featuring Greek Mythology! Greek food is great, too!

Back in 2000 there was the temporary Millenium Pavillion. Lots of good countries in there - including Brazil. We had a blast. I can well imagine what a permanent Brazil would be like. I'd also like to see Greece, Russia and India.

Not to mention the architecture. St. Basil's is breathtaking, as are many of its cathedrals.

I would love to see what the Disney Imagineers would do with India! The culture, dancing, music. It would be awesome!
