So we all know you really shouldn't eat inside a restaurant if you are not purchasing food there. You wouldn't take a picnic lunch into say, Burger King, not order anything and sit and eat your picnic lunch. Same thing at Disney.

So, what are you suggestions on where to eat a lunch brought into the parks?

MK is easy. Tom Sawyer Island has picnic tables! There is also plenty of tables with seats throughout the park and outside.

HS has random tables too.

We are a family of five. I have a plan to bring in all drinks, snacks and sandwiches. However, my DS11 is special needs, and very picky. His normal lunch foods won't work carrying around. It is not worth the battle to "make" him eat a sandwich, so he will probably get a kid's meal for lunch every day. So, since we are paying for a meal, I feel OK with taking up a table.

These blog posts are old (2010) and some of the spots may no longer exist. Some of the spots are actually part of CS restaurant locations within the parks. However, there are plenty of non-restaurants seats that you could use for resting or eating your packed meal.

MK has been easy for us, besides Tom Sawyer there are tables in Adventureland along the wall past Aloha Isle, often The CS across fromPOTC is closed, and there are some outside tables there that are not closed off when the CS is closed. Is Tommorowland Terrece open full time now? Because when it was closed, we used to eat our lunch at the tables on the upper level near the bathrooms.

At DHS, we usually eat outside in the bleachers while waiting for B&B or LMA to start.

Epcot has a few quiet areas around WS.

DAK actually put out a map when they were doing the picnic in the park. I think some of the spots may be at or near CS, but many aren't

At MK we usually eat on a bench on the wooden path between frontierland and the river. It is usually relatively quiet there.

In Epcot, there is a quite spot behind France, whee we have taken a lunch break.
