And Boma is a must do for all of our trips. 
AKL is a breathtaking resort. I love the lobby. It rivals the lobby at WL, my fav deluxe resort.

I've had that coconut rice and I agree, it's delish! Last year we kept zebra domes in our fridge when we stayed at AKLAfter the awful server you had at Kona I'm so glad you got an exceptional one at this meal
Sorry I am so behind! Only 5 weeks left in my fall semester so hopefully I can try and stay caught up! I am looking forward to winter break for more DIS time

Thanks Amy! The same thing happens to me and it's usually late at night when the last thing I should be doing is eating! Jasmine is a bit of a book geek....she has always loved reading and it makes me so happy!

What a nice meal at Boma. I've only ever eaten there for breakfast. It was then that I realized they don't serve zebra domes at that time. I was totally bummed so right after breakfast, we went to the Mara and bought a pack of zebra domes!
We bought the package at Mara too and kept it in our fridge the entire trip....little mounds of heavenly goodness
I hope to stay at WL one year....I think it's stunning!
Only had the joy of Boma once (the-trip-of-which-we may-not-speak) and LOVED it. The crab bisque was awesome then too. What a great day you had together

That mojito was so good....a couple of years ago they had a raspberry mojito but they didn't have it this year....that one was my favorite

We are thinking about doing an adults only evening in August and Jiko is on the short list!!Zebra domes.......I have never had one but they remind me of Little Debbie Zebra Cakes!! Has anyone on here had them and please tell me they are nothing like it. (Although you can get a pack of Little Debbies for about a buck fifty!! lol)

Jean was looking over my shoulder earlier on and thought that Jasmine's top from your Epcot morning was very pretty
While it is too bad that you had a couple of not so magical experiences I'm glad they did not bring you down. Its so much nicer to focus on things like riding SM 3x in a row and chocolate covered strawberries
Those afternoons by the pool certainly look wonderful, especially as the weather is getting colder, it warms me up just to think about it

I can't believe your bad experience at Kona!!! That is just awful. I was disappointed with our meal there this time too- not a great server (though not as bad as yours!) and just "eh" food. And that was breakfast, which I usually love! Maybe they will get some bad comments and make some changes!
You guys know how to tour right- early to the parks and back to the pool! It is SO much more relaxing that way! I need to do that next time!

Glad your experience at Boma was better! I will take your advice and try to remember Maureen's name for next time we are there! Isn't their food the best? I would love to stay at AKL someday- I think I would eat 2 meals a day at Boma! I'd spring for the deluxe dining plan just for that opportunity!
