SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

well I love the update so far

The rest of the day is coming right up ;)

Nice pics of the resort, Queen. Doesn't everyone take pictures of garbage cans? I don't find it strange or a sickness at all. ;)

See Kathy, that's why I like you so much:hug:

It's night here. ;)

:lmao::lmao: One of my girlfriends flew in from Edmonton this afternoon so I just got home....working on it right now.....:lmao::lmao: It's night here now too:rotfl2:

Love the ASMu pics! I like seeing something and having that "I've been there!" moment. :rotfl: We stayed at ASMu in October in part because you and Jasmine seemed to like it so much. It's so colorful! The boys loved it!

can't wait to read about AK! :goodvibes

Here's the rest of our AK day....better late than never right Darcy;)
219.jpg

We were a tad bit late for rope drop, the buses were horrid on this morning...we waiting 45 minutes for a bus, and let me tell you, people were ugly at the bus stop. I know 45 mins is a long time to wait, but yelling and swearing at your children is not going to bring one any quicker! Here is a picture of Jasmine as we arrived...doesn't she looked thrilled to pose for another picture
220.jpg

Waiting at the ticket kiosk...the lineups weren't bad, but I didn't know how the park would be once we got inside
221.jpg

Not too bad....this made me very happy as we wanted to get a few rides under our belt before I "made" Jasmine sit through yet another performance of FOTLK!
223.jpg

Strolling leisurely towards Asia....can you guess which ride we're heading for?
224.jpg

Beastly Bazaar...I always manage to buy something in this little store...
225.jpg

Finally made it to Asia...it was such a beautiful morning I could have just kept walking around the park, but you all know Jasmine would have none of that!
226.jpg

I love this place....I always stop here for a Frozen Chai Tea Latte....heavenly....when we were here in February, I tried hot tea...it was so yummy, just what a cloudy damp day called for, but I much prefer a hot September day and a frozen drink!
227.jpg

As you can see the crowds were pretty non-existent...we were almost at our favorite ride and I was quite certain there would be no wait
228.jpg

I was right....I knew at this moment it was a good thing Jasmine told me to have my frozen drink after we rode, because she would make me do this 3 times in a row....that backwards part makes me a tad motion sickness ... yuck just thinking about it.....
229.jpg

Some shots as we walked right on the ride....had to grab some pics though
230.jpg

231.jpg

232.jpg

Almost there....I was getting pretty excited about riding again....it made me miss my niece....when her and I rode last year she cracked me up....and all I could think about was next summer when we would ride RnRC together
235.jpg

Tree of Life as we ascended the mountain.....
236.jpg

Not exactly sure what this is .... clearly I was just snapping as we were trucking along
237.jpg

I was happy to see that bird back...Jasmine doesn't ever remember it being there, but I remember the first year the ride opened it was there....she thought I was crazy, so you all know I went back into pictures to show her right?
238.jpg

The Yeti...or at least his shadow
239.jpg

Our photo, which I did not purchase....I have so many and the only time we ever look at them is when we go into the wall unit to get a movie out to watch...then we pull out our ride pics and laugh!
243.jpg

Jasmine took all of these photos from KS...I think she did a pretty great job...I really just wanted to enjoy the safari, but she was quick to point out that I would be letting my Dis friends down....so being the good girl that she is, she took over camera duty. Love this shot of the rhino....
250.jpg

Can't remember the names of these big fellas, but aren't they gorgeous
254.jpg

Mama and baby elephant....that baby was seriously the cutest little thing
257.jpg

I couldn't believe how we lucked in with the lions on this safari.....isn't she beautiful sitting up there....we've never seen her in all her glory before....
258.jpg

And then there is the male.....need I say more???

I will sign off here so I can keep my promise of having the rest of the day up before I head off to bed!!!

Love the ASMu pics! I like seeing something and having that "I've been there!" moment. :rotfl: We stayed at ASMu in October in part because you and Jasmine seemed to like it so much. It's so colorful! The boys loved it!

can't wait to read about AK! :goodvibes

I know exactly what you mean....I always think of how many I people I know have stood in front of the castle or Spaceship Earth....

I'm so happy the boys liked it....I find it very relaxing there....

Coming out of lurkdom! I'm glad to see a mom/daughter trip. I honestly wish my mom and I had this type of relationship. But whenever we're at Disney, we're on a completely different spectrum. But I guess that happens when you get older and head off to college and are about to get married right? Anyways, I hope all is well and I am looking forward to more updates! :goodvibes

Your AK day sounds awesome, although 45 minutes waiting for the bus in the heat was probably not the greatest start to it

Can't wait to hear more

All I can say is Jasmine is beautiful and a lot more patient then I would be.

Awesome safari pictures. Mine always come out pretty blurry.:sad2: And I have never seen the female lion before, always only the male and he's always sleeping!

Great shots of ASMu too. You know, I love the deluxe resorts so much but we go to the values just as often (if not more) and I love them just as much. The layout and the food courts are so convenient. I would probably pick Pop over all of the mods I've stayed! :goodvibes

As far as my planning is going, I just found out that the Poly has no hot tubs at their pool and no fitness center either. You have to go to the GF to use theirs. Sooooooo I don't think I want to stay there anymore. The hot tub thing is only an issue because it may be too cold in March for the pool and the jacuzzi is nice on a chilly day. I don't necessarily need the fitness center but the Poly doesn't have a running trail either. So I think the Boardwalk is where we'll be staying. Which I can't complain about!

Nice updates! :goodvibes

We skipped AK in August and your update made me regret it, but there's always next year :)

I love the pictures from EE and the safari! Both you girls got some great ones :thumbsup2

Great pics of AK!

I really need to go to that Tea place! I have heard great things but I always end up walking right past it!

Jasmine did a great job of taking pics on the safari! I love that one with the female lion!

Can't wait to hear more about your day at AK!

Excellent update! I enjoyed your ASM pictures. We stayed at All Star Sports in '03 and had fun visiting the other AS resorts to take pictures. I remember seeing some of those things.

Ahh, the Animal Kingdom. I just love it there. Sounds like you had a great morning! Gotta love that view as you're climbing to the top of EE. :thumbsup2

Love to see your pictures. The two of you are always enjoying yourselves and smiling. :thumbsup2

And that last lion picture, sometimes you need something to scratch with. :rotfl2:

Fun TR :) I found it this morning and have to finish reading the rest with more coffee! Thanks for sharing so many pictures - and I cant wait to hear about the rest of your adventures. Mother/Daughter trips can be SO fun... boys just dont understand sometimes ;)

Great updates :thumbsup2. The birthday/costume pictures were too cute. I'm like Jas; I can't hardly hardly straight shots of alcohol, I like all the mixings stuff with it.....:rotfl2:. Her new beau is really cute, and that he treats her well makes him even better.

Seeing your pictures at the resort beings back memories of our May '08 trip. I don't guess I will get my group to all go again since Amanda is getting married next November :sad2::sad1:.

Great pictures!
I can't believe how empty the food court was that morning for brkfst, looks like ya'll had the place to yourselves.

That's awesome EE was only a 5 min wait! That's strange there was a bird on the ride, then it was gone & now it's back:confused3.
I love the picture you took of the Tree of Life from the ride.

I also love your male lion comment

Great updates! It really does look steamy in those morning shots. I guess that is FL in Sept. Love all of the safari pics. Jasmine got some great shots:thumbsup2

Love the new updates!! Jasmine looks so pretty in her birthday pictures and I agree with everyone, her new guy is a cutie. They are both very photogenic!! Glad to see she met someone and he looks like a potential dis-er!! haha
The frozen tea sounds yummy!! I have never ridden Expedition Everest, I get too bad of motion sickness, but glad to see others enjoy it!!
Hope your weather isn't as cold this week for you as it's been. OH and I wanted to mention your trip next year to Fargo. The Detroit area isn't too far from that, so come here!! lol

I was behind. Congrats to Jas on the new man! Very cute and looks like a nice guy. I am married to a Jeff :)
Great AK update. I will have to remember that stand for some tea in Dec. I can't bring myself to do EE-so I will live thru ur pics!!

Just dropped in for a quick peak . We are so busy trying to get ready for the trip and everything organised for Christmas.

Have a great day!
