Spiderman update ?

Hey guys!
I'm visiting from uk in oct, how likely is it that spiderman will still be open?, I've seen the news of the refurb, but so hoping that it won't be happening during our stay, I love spidey!
Any info greatfully received!

The last I heard is that Universal had not announced dates yet. Hopefully, they'll hold off until Despicable Me is done but who knows? We love Spiderman too.

A friend of mine said if they are just updating the screen and film it might not be shut for long, not sure if that's right... Wonder if they'll update the queue etc too, hope not, I don't think it needs that much of an update, though the new 3D will no doubt be mind blowing!

Doesn't sound like it will be closed for long. Since they are saying the new film will be ready in 2012, I don't think we will be seeing closures this year.

I agree and I think they will try to do as much after hours as humanly possible to keep the downtime to an absolute minimum.
