According to DLRP Express Disneyland Paris is introducing a new meet & greet character at the Walt Disney Studios Park!
From March until July 2014 guests can meet Marvel's Spiderman at the former office of Bureau Passport Annuel.
The location can be found next to Blockbuster Café which also has a Marvel theme (Iron Man).

Am I the only one that isn't looking forward to this, Spiderman will never be Disney to me.

i think the studios is a good place for Spiderman - neither me nor my girls are fans, but I'm quite looking forward to seeing him there :).

That's great news, WDS could do with more meet & greats. Hope they introduce more Marvel stars to the park.

This is where I start to get aggitated.....I love the Marvel characters but in my mind, I'm used to seeing them at Universal, which also says "not Disney" to me - even though they now own the rights!

I'm all for more "boy" oriented stuff though, but my heart says "in your own park boyo!" I said on our podcast that this would make a brilliant third "man" park (gate), and I still think this. My only doubt is that a Marvel /Universal type park would make the Studios desolate! If it brings in more revenue, then so be it. Just keep them out of our beloved Disneyland Parc!

Philip Gas did hint at a Marvel land for WDS a few years ago during an interview with the French press.

Maybe this is the start to see how guests react to Marvel appearing at DLP.

A few years ago is the key. Still nothing else has been said about it though :-/ It's the Star Wars land of the Studios! There have been rumours since the Marvel takeover, I'm still not on board with anything Marvel wise in the Studios though, but would prefer them there instead of the main park!

Maybe if Spider-Man gets good reaction I hope we might see more male oriented meet and greets though, the usual suspects are dare say it, getting slightly old now!

When I had a chat with Philip Gas last year, we breifly discussed the Walt Disney acquisition of Marvel and in his charismatic style, told me that does not like the 'Armageddon' attaction and hinted of a possible Marvel themed attraction to replace it, when the budget allows and when the time is right......

One thing is for sure if a Marvel land or attraction is build in WDS, it would help to increase the parks attendance and start pointing it in the right direction.

IMO WDS has an identity crisis, maybe turing it into a European Universal Studios style park is the way to go. With a Paramount Park in Spain on the horison and rumours of an extention to the PortAventura Park, the news of any new things in WDS can only be treated as good news. Even if it is only a CM in a Spiderman costume.

Don't forget the Paramount Park that will supposedly be built at Bluewater - being just down the road from me I know it will bring in real competition, and I think it could possibly blow WDS out of the water. It will take more than a CM in Spider-Man costume to beat off the competition if it goes ahead. We really need a third Mmarvel gate..

From April 19, Spider-Man will meet the guests via a photolocation near of the Blockbuster Café (date confirmed by @DisneylandPfans)
