We booked this breakfast at Confisco Grille. Any one every do this character breakfast? Pros and cons? Is teh food decent?

I booked it too...my dd loves Dr Seuss!! I called to see if the GRinch would be there, but he only works December.

I would love to hear reviews too!!

Thank you.

We did this last summer. DD loves Spiderman and he LOVES to talk! After the 3rd or 4th time, I mentioned to him that when I met him when I was 6, he didn't speak at all. I also told him that when he was on the Electric Company he didn't speak either. :lmao: He told me he was making up for lost time! We had the most fun with Spiderman but the other characters were fun too (esp Thing 1 & 2). I'm assuming the food was fine cause I don't recall having a bad experience with it.

We did this too last Novermenber with our 2 boys, 5 and 7
Spidey was the best, he taled to my boys for a really long time, then came
back again before we left. The Cat and The Hat and Thing 1 and 2 were
good too.

The food was decent, not the best I ever had for breakfast, but it's
worth doing
Have fun!

We did the breakfast on May 25th.

I have to say I was really disappointed overall.

We were there for about an hour but in that time only 2 characters got to our table. Spiderman was great, really engaged the kids in conversation- he noticed my son's NY Mets hat and really used that to get a whole conversation about NYC going. We also saw Thing 2 who didn't speak but was cute.

We never saw The Cat in the Hat or Thing 1 in the restaurant at all.

The food on the buffet was not replaced quickly enough at all. The egg dish remained empty for about 1/2 hour, the pastries were not replaced at all, and most of the fruit platters were also empty.

For some reason it really annoyed me that there was an extra charge for juice- the bill for my family was about $70- and we didn't order any extras.

I did complain to the manager about the food and the lack of characters and she was most unhelpful and not really nice at all.

We did love the parks and had a great weekend and will be going back but I wouldn't reccommend the bfast at all.

Sorry for such a newbie question, but where is the Confisco Grille located? And how do I book this breakfast? I will be staying at the HRH from August 20 - 25 and this sounds like a lot of fun!

Confisco Grill is in Isalnds of Adventure, when you enter the park you walk down the "street" and when you get to the end look right (towards seuss landing) and it's right there.

Phone Number for reservations is:407-224-4102

We did this breakfast about a year or so back. We had one of the last times of the morning. It was a great time to go. The place was pretty much empty and we had TONS of character time. They all came and sat with us for a while. The Things turned our sugar packet dish upside down and a few other things. Spiderman was great with the boys and they got to talk to him quite a while. Cat in the Hat was also a lot of fun--apparently he is a CSW fan as well! ;)
