Spider-Man or Forbidden Journey first?

Going in one week! We are very excited. I know both the Spider-man Ride and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey are super hot headliner rides. From a line/wait/crowd standpoint, which one would you try to do first? Which one tends to have the longer lines and which ride gets the longer lines first?

On one hand I feel like I should do Spider-Man first to knock it out and then head over to WWOHP, where we want to spend the bulk of our time.

On the other hand, maybe spending 30 (?) min on Marvel Super Hero Island would really put me at a disadvantage on crowds in WWOHP.

This is my first time at IOA, so the crowd patterns/ride popularity strategy are all totally new to me. Thanks!

if you are staying onsite and plan on using early entry, parry hotter will be open so do that one before spidey.

if you are staying offsite, it depends on the day you go that could determine the crowd level.
saturdays are crowded usually.

parry hotter will generally have more of a wait than spidey at opening time.

you can do the single rider lines for both of the rides if they are open when you are there.
that will help cut back wait times.

if you favor one ride over the other, do that one first as there will be early entry guests already in the park once it opens officially.

Will you be staying onsite or have an offsite package that allows early entrance to Wizarding World? Will you have Express Pass purchased or through the onsite hotel (not for FJ, but for Spiderman)?

op, if the parry hotter stuff is a priority, do that first.
do all of it before you move on to marvel land.

but, you said you wanted to do spidey first before moving on.
if you don't have early entry, you will find some lines at marvel land as many guests do start at the front of the park and head to potter in the afternoon.

Are you going to be arriving at opening? It doesn't really matter what you do first considering when you are going. I'd just check out the wait time board and go from there.

If you will be using early entry to IOA, and plan to see the wand selection show in Ollivanders, do that before Forbidden Journey or Spiderman as I've heard that the wait for that is typically longer than the waits for Forbidden Journey or Spiderman.

I should have mentioned:
Not staying onsite
No Express Pass
Going on a Wednesday (one week from today)
Will definitely be there at opening

So the consensus is Wands Before Webs? ;)

If you are staying all day, try to see WWoHP when it starts getting dark too. It is really magical.

I think you should go to Spiderman first since you aren't going to have early entry. With all the people running to HP, the rest of the park will be deserted. That means no lines for anything else. As far as HP goes, check the wait times throughout the day and go when it looks like there won't be that long of a wait.

I personally would to HP first. Whenever we are there we always see LONG waits for HP. Spidermand can but we tend to just wait and get 20 min waits. What we found worked out best last time was we got to the park at opening and headed straight to HP (by turning right instead of left) and cutting through Suess Landing (also taking the path on the left as soon as u enter the section) and we were able to get onto the ride with about a 5 min wait. We did Spiderman later and only waited 15 mins.
