Spider in the Keyboard!

I pulled a file and had it open over my keyboard. A spider crawled out of the file and went into my keyboard before I was able to grab a tissue and smack it! I can't seem to shake it out so now I live in fear that every key I press, might be my last! Help! Any suggestions for removing terrifying critters from keyboards?

The ironic thing is, I had a bag to bring to work with me today that included canned air. Did I bring it? Nope, still sitting on the floor of my kitchen. Stinky spider is still in there, it popped out for a second and then went in under the letter Y.

I'm so addicted to the Dis, I'll type anyway!

Ok, update. . . The spider is no longer in the keyboard and has moved on to spider heaven. He crawled out and onto the desk where he met a sad fate of being squashed by a tissue.

I had a cockroach crawl into my keyboard at work a couple years ago. YUK!! It would not come out so our IT guy brought me a brand new one and threw the "roachy" one away!

I would have suggested throwing out the keyboard to get a new one, too! I HATE spiders and most creepy crawly things. In fact, I had an epic battle with a spider here in the house a few months ago. I was twitching for about a week! OP, you are much braver than I.

I think I would buy a new keyboard anyway. What if she had babies when she was in there????? There could be little eggs under every key....
