Spiciest food in WDW?

I did a check for this, both on this forums and on Google. This question has been asked before, but it seems the last thread was 5 years ago (or my search-fu is off).

What is the absolute spiciest dish to eat at WDW? What's the one dish that will force you to jump into World Showcase Lagoon just to find some relief? What's the one dish that could have your breath burn down Expedition Everest while standing in front of Thunder Mountain? What's the one dish that gives new meaning to "Tower of Terror?" What's the one dish that can melt Elsa's ice castle?

I've heard that Nine Dragons' Kung Pao Chicken and Sanaa's bread service has some heat to it. Anything else? Anything new? My girl and I are planning a 2018 Marathon Weekend trip, so, please, nothing from Food and Wine.

There is really no chance that another person's idea of blow your hat off hot matches yours so a search is probably not going to return much.
Nothing at Sanaa's bread service was hot, or at least not super hot. Spiced and flavorful but not heat hot
DH had Kung Pao Chicken at Nine Dragon's, it's his favorite Chinese dish. I didn't try it but I'm certain it was not at all hot
We find the wings at River Roost Lounge and Scat's Club (both at PO resorts) to be really hot. Not too hot for us but really hot. I'm sure it would be the spiciest thing many have eaten
I've never eaten anything that was too hot to enjoy.

I'm not saying this in a condensing way at all, but my answer is "lol." Disney doesn't do spicy more or less the kind of Indian/Thai face melting spicy you're illustrating (and amusingly so). If you find anything with some actual heat, please report back!

I agree with this - I've had incredibly spicy food that I've loved while the person sitting next to me needs a gallon of water to put the 'fire' out (and yes I know water doesn't help, it just worsens the heat - some people just don't listen LOL)

Spicy Durban Shrimp is probably the spiciest dish I have had anywhere at WDW.
The Jalepeno Margarita from La Cava was surprisingly spicy.
Kung Pao at Nine Dragons is spicy"ish".
The bread service at Sanaa has two options that are spicier than others (Red Chile Sambal and Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle) and I found both to be pretty spicy.
I haven't had it yet but I've read the El Diablo Burger (with chipotle mayo) at D Lux is up there as well.
Alot of places have Tabasco or sriracha to add (but I can do that at home and not looking to overpower the dishes I order).

I don't know exactly how it's spelled, but at Sanaa you can get Sambal (or something like that) sauce and add it to your naan or any entree.
You need to specifically ask for it though.
It's very hot. I break a sweat and my glasses fog up.

The Sambal sauce is great! Five of our six love spicy food, so we've been known to throw some Tabasco sauce packets in one of our backpacks from time to time. :)

I think that's why my searches have been rather hit and miss. What's dragon's breath to one person is just another meal to another.

For some background, my girlfriend and I both love spicy food. My girl can eat the Blazin' wings at Buffalo Wild Wings and not break a sweat. I can eat one before it bothers me. Two and I'm looking for the nearest fire hose. That's why I want to find the spice. The spice must flow!

we love Disney, and most Disney food, but there is nothing anywhere we have had that is spicy enough. Dishes border on bland in most places. The best we can get is flavorful dishes but nothing spicy :(
Have you tried the sambal sauce at Sanaa or Jiko? It's very spicy, and I'm a guy who coats EVERYTHING with Tabasco sauce.
We have even asked for the chef to zing it up if possible.

The only thing I've ever found spicy was at Mr. Kamal's at DAK - the samosas had a surprising kick to them! I like spicy food a LOT, but they are the only thing I found spicy in all my trips.

Funny thing, it's not listed currently on Disney's website though. It's not always open, as it's one of those little booth type places. We've enjoyed sitting at the little tables behind it for a relaxing snack a few times, overlooking the water.

I LOVE spicy foods. I've found that Disney severely lacks when it comes to spicy. Sleepy Hollow at MK does have a sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich that is pretty good..though I definitely wouldn't say it has the spice I would like it to have. The Contempo Cafe has a spicy chicken sandwich as well but I haven't tried it.

I would say virtually none. Consider the idea that WDW pretty much has to cater to lowest common denominator. A couple of the sauces for the bread service at Sanaa have some kick. For reference, I can eat a cored, cooked habanero pepper with no issues. Hot, but not lethal. To me Tabasco is not very hot.

I have had the Jalepeno Margarita and I concur it was hot. Was not impressed with the El Diablo Burger, the patty was greasy causing any chance of spice to be muted.

I have not found anything "hot", but well spiced....Spicy Durban Shrimp at Sanaa. The sambal, I thought, was weak, though..

I am all about the heat, but nothing has blown me away in that regards at WDW.

Than you didn't get the *true* Sambal. You need to make a special request. If you get the right stuff I promise that NOBODY would call it weak. It's about twice the heat of drinking Tabasco the way we order it. It would choke a bull.

I accidentally ate a habanero slice off the kalua tacos at Trader Sam's... :crazy2: I had no drink yet. It was brutal.

yes we have had it at Sanaa and it was good. but when we have ordered certain dishes there and asked for them to be spicy HOT, they always come out barely Medium, and yes they give us that sauce but we just prefer the dish to already be prepared HOT. We are staying at AKL again this april and will eat at Sanaa and Boma. No interest in Jiko for us. Even Sanaa since it first opened years ago has mellowed out their dishes by alot :(

Indeed. You need to specifically order the Sambal extremely hot. They CA do it, but don't promote it.
