Spice Road Table is reopening under Disney’s management this Sunday. It will be walk up only and have a new menu. I’m excited that it is opening so soon after closing but wonder how the experience will compare as we found the staff to be very warm and added to our experience. Is anyone planning on trying it out on their upcoming trips? I’d love some recon reports if you are!

On the plus side for those of us with allergies, it being Disney owned and operated means there should be a clear allergy menu.

We had dinner and watched Illuminations for the last time here in Aug 2019. I'm so happy they're reopening, albeit walk up only. Yay!

SRT might have already had this option in the app, not sure, but worth noting you can join the Walk-Up List from the app. That’s a really handy feature for a large park like Epcot.

Since it's now listed as a "lounge", not a restaurant, I wonder if you can make reservations or just join the walk up list, like at Nomads

I think it’s just walk ups, so I would think you would either go in person or join the walk up list on the app.

Spice Road Table is the restaurant that sits on the lagoon, next to the Friendship boat dock. It's part of the Morocco pavilion.

Well they do have lamb on their menu and they are on the water so they could be both? I’m thinking you are maybe referring to Restaurant Marrakesh for one? If so, that one is closed I believe.

Since it's going to be reopening as a lounge, I would assume there will be a bar.

Thanks for sharing. Seems like every blogger/Disney type I follow for news went to Crystal Palace yesterday. Poor SRT, never gets any love.

That's why it's a hidden gem! Let's hope it stays hidden enough to be accessible, but gets enough attention to be successful. All kidding aside, I do hope that this new incarnation (and any that comes after) of SRT is as good as the old.
