I'm honestly unsure, is there an inside restaurant or is just a bar and the patio seating? We are eating there early December around 6:30. If only outside, do they have heaters?

If it really gets that cold I'd imagine they have those space heaters that restaurants with outdoor spaces have in truly cold climates.

I didn't even think to look, do you have to specify outside? Or do they just sit you there?

Can you tell I don't have much experience here? 😂

They have really nice heaters out there, actually decorative tower style. We've eaten in cooler weather and found it very comfortable. Here is a picture I found (photo by d. holmes chamberlin jr architect llc).

There’s an enclosed outdoor patio that yes they’ve those described above space heaters (they’re ubiquitous thru out FL and can be found in abundance at DS) as well as a fully walled and windowed restaurant. We always eat outdoors.

The chances of it being a 'cold' day by the standards of most of the country are probably 2% or less...a cold day by Florida standards means it only gets up to around 80. On the rare handful of days a year where central Florida gets a real cold snap and the highs only get into the 50s, it's usually in January to late February...10-15 years ago we used to get some cold days like that in late November/early December, but not much lately. My last 8 December trips have seen the coldest nights in the low70s and the hottest nights in the low 80s. But yes - if you catch that rare day where it is actually cold, Spice Road does have good heaters - and because it's a covered roof, the heaters are pretty effective as opposed to true patio outdoor seating where there's nothing above to retain the heat in the area.

We did the fireworks package there last month- so we sat outside for that.
But there is an indoor restaurant as well, with some window seating.
We really enjoyed the fireworks package food and would definitely do it again.
