Had an early dinner on a chilly Saturday around 6pm. The inside was full but there were several outside tables available. We were dressed for cold weather so it was comfortable when we took our seat. Side note - only two of the probably twenty or thirty tables were taken but they proceeded to seat us away from the water. Kind of annoying. But when we asked to be seated next to the water they had no problem with it. Strange though. Anyway. Abdullah was our waiter and could not have been nicer. Funny and friendly. We started with an espresso and some wine. The white wine flight (12.99) and a half carafe of red (14.99). The white was a mix of Moroccan, Greek and Lebanese wines if i remember correctly. They were nice and light - quite different from the whites I typically have. A bit sweet so DH liked them. The red tasted like a California medium bodied wine. Nothing exceptional but certainly drinkable - decent house wine. I did not ask what it was because we were too taken by our tapas to remember to ask! We had the grape leaves (8.00), hummus and olives (10.00), lamb slider (9.00), spicy shrimp (10.00), and the chocolate pyramid (7.00). The standout for both of us was the spicy shrimp. Very tasty. Well seasoned with just enough heat to keep it interesting. Served warm. Delicious. I really enjoyed the grape leaves and thought they were well done. Although, the evening got cold very quickly so it was less pleasurable eating this cold dish while actually getting cold myself ha. The hummus and olives were good but not remarkable - probably wont get them again. The lamb slider was fabulous. Great flavor and the side dish of parsley salad was so tasty. There is only one slider offered so that may turn some people off but we were content because the flavor was so good. The pyramid was a kind of chocolate mousse with cream inside and a dollop of ice cream next to it. I don't care for sweets but DH liked it. The cream inside the pyramid was probably my favorite part of it. They do not take tables in wonderland yet FYI. The decor is very pretty and detailed - like the rest of the pavilion. Interesting lanterns and iron work - beautiful features and architecture. The lighting (particularly inside) was too bright but I bet they'll work on it. It was a lovely meal - one of my favorites and we will definitely return! Maybe even today!!

Thanks for the review. I've only read the Disney food blog review so this was very nice.

Thanks for noting that they don't accept TiW. :)

Glad you liked it.

Thanks for the review. Other than the lamb slider, did you feel the other dishes were shareable? That is, if you want more than bite, is it better to order a full dish per person? I could see all three of us wanting the lamb slider and then maybe we would supplement that with a few other dishes?

They were shareable but would really only allow a few bites per person if two people were sharing. I would recommend your party plan on a lamb slider per person and at least one other dish per person. Perhaps more if you are trying to have a real meal as opposed to a snack.

We started to eat there last Saturday for lunch and put our name on the list (only a 10 min. wait for lunch) but after looking over the menu decided to pass. It was a little too pricey for us for a lunch (we were starving and would've wanted to order like 3 things each). We had a dinner ressie at Boma which I knew would make it a pricey dinner. Maybe another time. But I thought it looked expensive and didn't want to drop $30 pp for a lunch. I also don't like to eat at TS places that won't take the TIW card. :( That would make a difference for us trying it or not.

We ate there last week and really enjoyed it. I wish they would accept TIW...it will make a difference to us coming back. Had Calamari, Humus, Lamb Slider, Spicy Schrimp, Spicy Chicken, Mussels, and Skewers. The mussels were very good. Son loved the Lamb Slider. Husband enjoyed the Spicy Chicken. Good place, particularly during warm weather.
