Spice Girls Renunion

The Spice Girls are reforming...

  • ...GREAT. They can extract a few more quid from me!

  • ...FAIR ENOUGH. Will enjoy it with my purse firmly shut.

  • ...NOOOO. Leave it as the memory it was (or wasn't)

  • ...WHO are the Spice Girls again?

So, following the reformation of several bands including Take That (pretty successfully) and All Saints (not so!) what's your take on the Spice Girls Reunion?

Also if you could reunite any band who would it be - don't let death be the barrier to your selection :)

I was watching this on TV last night Jo and although Ive never really been a Spice Girls fan, I wish them good luck.:thumbsup2

Now if I could get any band back together again for one more concert to see live it would have to be Roxy Music, I saw them many times when I was younger and still see Bryan Ferry live to this day, but I would love to see the original line up together singing all their oldies one more time:thumbsup2

I would go and see them, i was about 12 when wannabe came out and i remember thinking they were really cool people to look up to. i think the music industry would be very different now if the spice girls hadnt come along.

I'm not sure about which band should reunite, but i think Take that should do more gigs, because i cant get a ticket anywhere!

I failed to too!

I'm still thinking about who I'd reform

Was never a fan. Wonder if they will still do the 'Girl Power' thing :goodvibes

I was never a fan of them. Just anothe excuse to extract money from their fans IMO.

Not really bothered about the Spice Girls - liked a couple of their songs but I have no desire to further line Victoria Beckham's pocket...

If I could, I'd re-form Thin Lizzy...

And it would've been nice to see the Beatles...

I just think if they think they're going to be successful good on them, I'd be amazed if they can recapture the imagination of todays younger audience though.
Also the Cheryl Cole/Victoria Beckham prada-bags-at-dawn race for the charts will be quite funny to watch

I wouldn't mind seeing them in concert

I'd loooove to see them! But I know I probably won't be able to especially with only one UK date! What's that about? Gr. Should have 2 really.. I guess I'm gonna have to get my sleeping bag out..

S Club 7, in a couple of years. They were my favourite band ever when I was little, I loved them.

Bryan Ferry's children used to go to my DS's previous school, Sue! I was a big Roxy Music fan in the seventies and never quite got used to seeing him there on Sports Day etc - it just seemed wrong somehow... :lmao:

Oh no I didnt like them the first time. I have desire to hear them again.

I won't be paying out to see them, I am surprised that they are only doing 1 UK gig!

My girls were huge fans of the Spice Girls and we always hoped that they would get back together for a farewell tour. We were so disappointed at the dates that were released yesterday, just one date in London. I know I will definitely buy the Greatest Hits C.D. and I wish them all well :thumbsup2

they are all in their 30's now and will be singing their 'teeny bop' songs- NO THANKS.- ZIG_ A ZIG_AHHHHH

I would reform QUEEN  with freddie Mercury - ( i know - he's in Heaven now! )

Why anyone would want to see talentless women miming to ridiculous songs is beyond me but what made me chuckle was "Posh" ( a name Victoria uses without the slightest bit of irony) saying "that they are not doing it for the money", so it's all going to charity is it? No? I didn't think so.

I'm sure there will be more dates added.

Tickets are being allocated through a lottery on http://www.thespicegirls.com/ or rather the chance to buy tickets is!;) )

I'm not bothed as I won't be applying but I'm sure they'll cost a small fortune

Pictures of Victoria Beckham at the press conference yesterday - she actually looks like she is turning into a caricature of herself.

I was never a fan so I didn't really care if they reformed or not !

Now if I was to reform a group (dead or alive) it would be the Beach Boys for me every time !! Just imagine............. Brian, Dennis, Carl, Bruce, Mike all together again - it would be fantastic !! :thumbsup2
