I booked a regular room at the Swan. The SPG website says that you are guaranteed a free upgrade to a preferred room. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? What am I going to end up with?

Most likely, a great view or a balcony room with a great view! The Swan is a wonderful resort. I hope you enjoy your stay and get that upgrade.
